Cannot install Capture One Pro 9.
Never touched Capture One before. Downloaded a trial version and wanted to give it a try. But could not install. Tried many times and all ended up with a failure notice.
I thought it might be a mistake and tried to open it. Could not open.
The computer: Lenovo ThinkPad T540p
The OS : Windows 7 Pro. 64b.
Has anybody have the same experience and how to solve the problem, please?
Thanks.

It is very hard to help, if you don't provide more info, like what the error message says.
Please contact our Support right away, with the extra info.0 -
Hi, maybe I encountered the same troubles on my Win 7 -- after a longue communication with the P1 support I found myself the firewall was the issue! To switch it off was not sufficient - I had to uninstall it completely from the computer. Once successfully installed I activated C1 Pro 9 and reinstalled the firewall back. 0 -
Thank you.
Had antivirus software and firewall stopped functioning. Capture One was installed but could not open for any use.
Simply could not open the application.
Give it up.
Thanks anyway.0 -

Had antivirus and firewall disabled and Capture One installed, but could not open it but the message popped up as the following:

Search the forum for "p1.modelcore.dll".
There are a few suggestions to be found.
This one maybe?

Thank you.
Appreciate the link you have provided.
I went to read carefully the information and followed the suggestions, downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) 14.0.23026 and .NET Framework 4.6, but the result was the same, that is, could not open the application.0 -
Thank you, Gentlemen.
Found the cause of the problem. "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" It is very possible that the problem has nothing to do with Capture One. It is rather the problem of my computer.
What puzzles me is that 1. Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) 14.0.23026, and 2. .NET Framework 4.6, and 3. api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" were all installed manually that should solve the problem, but it DID NOT. So, my conclusion is: My computer is in serious trouble.
Again, thank you.0
