Session to catalog back to session
Going on train journey tomorrow and was thinking of making a catalogue of a current project to do some basic rating. The files are all in a session and was thinking of creating a referenced catalog for the images and carrying just the catalog with me. However I want to get the metadata changes back in to the session and continue working with them there when I get back. I've only been able to find some convoluted method on Capture Integration website that involves duplicating files - is there an easier way?
Thanks
Doug

Would it not be easier to simply copy the entire session (I assume you are using a different machine for your journey), work on it and then merge the sessions when you return? (Or simply copy the session back to the other machine would seem to be an option.
I appreciate you may have a disk capacity limitation on your travel machine that you have not mentioned but in reality copying the session would be so much easier and quicker than messing around with the changes to catalogue and back. (IMO)

The answer seems to be to dust off my copy of Media Pro and use that instead. Worked just fine, but odd that "The Professional Choice in Imaging Software" can't do something that the abandoned Media Pro can do. Incidentally Lightroom can do it too, although without seeing the adjustments made in C1 Pro. 0
