1- you can rotate the image in C1P and save it as a style if necessary. also you can set the rotation prefs in the camera itself.
2- there is a white balance eyedropper in the white balance panel.
    3. focus manually in with the camera and then use the loupe tool or focus panel to check it.

By "live view" you mean the image in C1P's viewer - right?
I don't think you can use Canon's live view in C1P.

Hello, I'm a capture one and 5d mk III user, I found these problems in tethered shooting.
1- I can't change orientation of the live view.
2- I can't do the white balance in live view.

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

Unless there were made changes recently, your observations are correct.

In live view, you can currently have an image in one (landscape) orientation.
And yes, white balance does not work in live view with DSLR (at least not with Canon).

Personally, I find the focus adjustment in live view accurate. There are different buttons for smaller/larger increments.

I have not checked recently, but I assume these are known issues, as they exist since live view for DSLRs was introduced in CO7 in October 2012.

    Hi Edward,

For your information, DSLR (Canon, Nikon) live view was a new feature in CO 7.0.
    Enjoy! 😉

Thanks Paul. I'll give it a try sometime.
Actually never used Live View with the Canons.

Hello. First Thanks to all for support.
    Unfortunately, Paul confirmed my fears

    - with "live view" I mean the CO live view and there's no way to correctly orient the viewer. The problem is in live view and not in editing mode, where I correctly see the pictures, so I think that create a style doesn't resolves the problem, maybe it invert the problem.

    - The white balance eyedropper definitely doesn't work in live view mode(CO, and dslr canon)

    - For focusing,I didn't find too accurate the af with a 135mm but manually is great, I risk to move the camera but fortunately focus is made before shooting. 😊
I hope that these problems will be resolve.
