Output, export (process recipe) Issue
I seem to be having issues with 9.2.1 when it comes to exporting (outputting) images.
It seems as though sometimes selected images are not being processed.
For example, I will have several images selected for export using a process recipe. Some of the images will be RAW files with C1 adjustments, some will be TIFFs that have been edited in Photoshop (edited from C1and still in the C1 session).
Sometimes one or more of the images do not get processed, thus aren't showing up in the output location. At first I thought it was just the TIFFs but it appears that some TIFFs are getting processed.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior?

Phil,
I'm using Windows so this may or may not be relevant ....
I have seen some random "loss" of images (not out put as expected) in earlier releases which I reported and the case is flagged as Solved.
Using 9.2 a recent batch export of several hundred files using 2 recipes at the same time produced no missing files so I think the Solved status seems to be correct.
I ran the export several times and the correct number of images appeared in both output folders.
The reason I ran the output several times, apart form testing the previous problem, was that I am using the Token based output file naming method and for some reason one or other of the export process was, randomly, allocating the first token of the file name to the token used for the other process. Slightly confusing but not a big deal and easy enough to rename after export.
I opened a case and the problem has been reproduced and passed on for correction.
Now you problem sound like the first of the problems I reported but it occurs to me that in some ways the second problem (or something like it) might appear to result in missing files - so I thought I would mention both just in case it helps.
There are, perhaps, other things that might affect TIFFS edited elsewhere but that is not an area where I can offer any useful insight. Sorry.

I am having this exact issue on my Mac now with v 9.3 and attempting to process TIFFs into JPGs. The process is initiated, but the resulting files are nowhere to be found after being processed. 0 -

If you can't find any of the files that does not sound like the same problem.
The original report was for a process session that worked but missed a few files.
For none to appear suggests something different. What does the Batch History show you?
How are your Process Recipe settings defined?

They show up in the history as processed, but when searching my system for the files they are nowhere to be found.
My process recipe is set up as Format: JPEG, and the sample path is my job folder. I also tried to set up a JPEG sub folder, and several different variations that I no longer can be sure about as this was yesterday, but none of them worked. I tried to search my entire system for the files, assuming that I had missed something and the files where being written to some other folder, but as they don't show up anywhere after a system-wide search I assume that can be ruled out.0 -
If you locate the log file Application.log you should find an entry that indicates whether or not C1 thinks the files were correctly processed.
I assume you are using the Process Recipe option and that the Process queue is running and reported that it was doing something.
I would advise where to look but I'm not a Mac person.
When you searched you system did you do so by expected file name or by something more generic - like expected file creation date?
Could the files have been dropped in a hidden folder not checked by your search? (I am aware that hidden folders are a more significant issue in Mac world than they are in PC world but beyond that I know nothing about them.)
If all else fails I would suggest that you create a Support Case and have the C1 support team help you work out what is happening.

Check the permissions on your output folder. 0
