Metadata handling

Can anyone describe the operation of the Preference->Image->Metadata "Auto Sync Sidecar XMP" which has the options "None", "Load", "Full Sync" . I am trying to keep my metadata in sync between Media Pro and C1v7 files.

    None: ignore sidecar files
    Load: only load, do not overwrite with changes done in C1
    Full Sync: load/save to the file, this is the option you want if you want to exchange meta data with other applications (eg Lightroom, Bridge, etc)

    Great - looking forward to the upgrade release of Media Pro as current workflow is broken. Any idea when release is expected?
