EOS 500D Not Always Recognized
Before opening a support ticket I just thought I'd ask if anyone else had experienced this. Sometimes Capture One does not recognize images shot on my EOS500D, instead assigning them the ICC for the 450D. I can alter the ICC to the one for the 500D but the image size is reported incorrectly and the orientation of the images is often wrong.
I don't think this is a problem with the camera as everything looks normal when I use Canon's DPP. Also, if I don't transfer the images from the card to the computer's hard drive and instead process them directly from the card they are all treated as 500D images and correctly oriented.
Anyone else?
Cheers,
Geoff Bryant

Version 4.8.3 has just been released and this gives "added camera support" for the Canon 500D, maybe this will help?
