Hot folder + adjustments

I'm on Mountain Lion with Capture One 7. I have a Canon 5D Mark 3. SInce tethering doesn't work - I'm using Canon Utility to tether and I use hot folder. When I used to tether in Capture One 6.x every new image transferred from the camera would copy the adjustments from the previous image. It doesn't work the same way with Hot Folder somehow..? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a work around?

  I don't know about Hot Folder. But if you read the First sticky topic named Canon tethering in this forum, you can tether with your 5DIII.

  No... from what I was told by support that option still doesn't let me write to the card and subsequently use the camera's screen. Fairly worthless for my purposes.

  It is either one of two.
  
  Or you tether with Capture One and you get the copy settings features among others, or you use the hot folder feature. You can't have both.
