I had posted this a week or 2 ago.

It looks like somehow MPro is associated to Windows appearance settings.
If you allow more enhanced settings in Windows, it should come up.

Maybe this is due to EMedia migration?

I originally disable visual enhancements in Windows as it takes more memory. But due to the association to it, I have turned some on in custom settings.

    thanks for the response, Raffi3

Can you say what enhancements you have enabled in windows -- I can't see anything on the Display Properties menu that does the trick

    thanks

Once you are in Control Panel, goto performance info and tools. Then select Adjust visual effects on left tab.

you should see a pop-up with options to select from. I have all of them unchecked except for

    _Save taskbar thumbnail previews
    _Show thumbnails instead of icons
_Use visual styles on windows and buttons

This is enough for my system and Media Pro to show the info bar.
