    quick update...

We were planning on a pre-Christmas release, however it looks like it is going to come just after the New Year Holiday. It is essentially ready to go however we want to make sure we have a chance to put the final release through our proper test procedures. With the holidays in full swing we haven chosen to delay the release rather than pull R&D away from their families.

Is there a new schedule for the release?
What I mean is: When will R&D come back from New Year Holiday and how long does it then take to go through your test procedures?

By the way: Thank you for your very good product. I've been using C1pro with my canons (still dreaming of a phasone back) now for years and I'm always very happy with it.

Wish you a happy New Year!

´There is no new schedule; no public announcement was ever made.

Mistakes are completely and personally mine.

I made a hint towards it might be released before the year is over but this was simply a mistake made from my part.
I will refrain from now on to give any form of hints in this direction since they are by some intrepid as announcements but they clearly are not.
Some unforeseen bug was discovered in beta version and will be corrected before final release.

I do apologize for this on my own behalf and it will not happen again.

And on Phase One's behalf I will say that public announcement will be made soon.

    Ulf,

I'd prefer you continue to hint. I assume everyone here is an adult that can understand releases are completely dependent on the number of serious bugs found. I didn't interpret your hint as an announcement, nor am I mad that you didn't make your timing. It is what it is and we'll all be better off waiting for a more stable release.

this is nothing compared w/ Bibble v5 drama... I guess some people in Hollywood should seriously consider writing a script based on what was on their forum recently (still going on)... might be a good movie.

Lionel, this is a restricted area, not for the general public.

Oups, I guess this was a bit early. You have to wait until Monday Jan 5 at the official download site.
