We have v7, and we did notice an issue with 10.9.5, it wasn't starting due to a security and privacy setting, but we restrict general user access to s&p, so we had to stop the deployment of 10.9.5 while we investigate.

Would be interesting to get info from more users with 10.9.5 and version 8. Will hold my breath with 10.9.5 not to waste the 60-day-trail-period.

In an evening of fairly heavy-duty editing, everything seems fine. Tethering appears to work, though I have a photo shoot this afternoon so I'll soon find out how stable it actually is.

I am using 10.9.5 both on CO7 and CO8 without any issue.

As you understand, an OS update can affect application performance. History has shown this more than once. If you are under productional stress, do not play the guinea pig (let others do, for example guys like me) and wait a few weeks or a month. Phase One tests any OS update and will incorporate support in their future maintenance releases.

If you like, testing on a separate machine, disk or volume is the best way to go.

I'm running os 10.9.5 with a licensed version of capture 8. Having an issue where every time capture one is closed and then reopened it requires the activation code to be entered and profile info etc. have tried so many things to fix this and I'm in contact with phase one technical support but if anyone else is experiencing this or has in the past it would be great to know a fix for it.

I have installed the 10.9.5 update and have not noted any issues with Capture One 8 yet. (Ditto for Media Pro)

    Hi folks,
installed v8 under 10.9.4 an C1 crashes each time I start it. Tried a number of things, but none worked. I can't get past the initial load/start.
Currently installing 10.9.5 which wasn't available yesterday.

    Update.
Upgrade to 10.9.5 did not affect v8. Now have to re-install v7, but the database will be considered corrupt.
Hopefully the backup will restore correctly.
    I have de-activated all licences.

All further work is on hold until my mac mini arrives on Monday. A little powerhouse to go with my big screen.

    Hi folks,
If I could find post where I posted my original problem I would add it there, but I can't.
Issue V8 crashes at startup on mac pro, new mac mini.

Looking for ideas I deleted the session file created by v7.x and restarted, registered V8, all is going slowly due to missing files on the migration from pro to mini. At least it doesn't crash anymore.

Hope this is some help to other users and maybe even the developers.

    Hi,

For what it's worth, I have upgraded to 10.9.5 and C1P 8 runs without issues (Mac Mini 2.6GHz).
