How to see if CO8 uses hardware accerlation / OPENCL?

Under preferences>general, you can set "Auto" or "Never". As you cannot choose "Always", I haven't figured out whether or not Capture One actually uses hardware acceleration /GPUs, if "Auto" is selected.

Is there a way to see if GPUs are used? Or is there a way to enforce it?

  The easiest way is to process a file with the software set to "Auto" and then compare that to the speed of processing the same file with the same recipe and the setting set to "Never".
  You cannot enforce it. The feature works only when allowed by the system.

  Thanks, not sure I got you right though. The options I see are "Never" and "Auto". "Always" is missing, that was exactly my point. Do you mean "Auto"?
