Can i move my Capture One Library from my laptop (Mac pro, OS 10.5) to an external hard drive? Running out of space. I moved I-Photo Library to an external drive and that went smoothly. If the same can be done with Capture One Library, are there special steps or precautions to take? Thanks, Tom

If you are using PRO, yes, no problem. If not, I'm unsure.

I have a related question of the Libraries. What procedure or approach should I take with importing previous CP1 v3 files? Is there a way to upgrade the v3 files? Or does it really matter?
Is there a complete workflow diagram anywhere from PhaseOne?

There is some good news and some bad news here. Because CO4 or 5 do not import CO3 adjustment files, it does not really matter how you open older files in CO4 or 5.

This sounds straight forward. The Library system is very flexible now, so the best approach is ... many.

I wanted to figure out, how to import some images, taken during the transition to v5. There isn't any real need, to revisit the older files.

I think you got the tongue-in-cheek feeling from my remark, didn't you? 😉
