Sorry novice questions

Hello everyone

I have finally activated a full version of capture one pro and am having a few problems with the basics.

The camera (eos 5d) is connected but nothing seems to come through, it was working in the original folder at first but when I tried to set up a new folder/session it stopped and now now matter what I try it won't work!!!

Can anyone please talk me through how to get started.

  Thanks for the reply but I have tried that already, it was working fine, just when I tried to create a new session it stopped!
  
  Could I have deleted a necessary file or something?

  1-connect camera - OFF
  2-Launch Capture One
  3-Create New Session - be sure it is set as the Capture collection with camera icon on Session Tab
  4-Turn Camera ON
  5-Take picture
  
  connected? No - File > Reconnect Camera
  verify camera settings are correct
  
  * be sure you have current firmware version and WIA Drivers for 5D
