Importing A7s exporting to Photoshop
I had serius problem importing A7s Raw files.
I detect I have Generic and Standard ICC profile. While I use Generic to Export(export the image as generic profile) The exported Tiff/jpg/ is like I'd use Standard, red on the skin...
I'm looking the way to export with the GEneric A7s Profile, but there is no way. The only solution I had is to do all my files again and remove the Generic Option for future problems, unless you give me a solution to export using the generic profile.
thx

Hmm. Not sure if I got you right. Shooting myself Sony since the A100 and processing the RAWs in C1 since V4beta.
When I "export" (or Process to keep it in C1 terminology) I do this only to sRGB or aRGB (JPG or TIF). Seems there are some who use ProPhotoRGB for 16bit TIF. But I'm not aware why one would use the provided generic or standard CAMERA profiles for the output file generation. If I'm not mistaken those camera profiles are used for reading (import) of the RAW in C1.
So if you create output for screen and/or Web you're probably best off with sRGB as output colour space.
Only if you're going to print AND your printing device supports aRGB then this colour space should be the best suited.
And large gamut colour space like ProPhotoRGB is the option when 16bit TIF output for further edit on that format is desired.0 -
Indeed, it makes no sense AFAIK to export to a camera profile (what would you do that for?). You export for the screen or for printing. 0
