Exporting and naming entire folders from session favorites?
Hi, I'm working on Capture One 8. Shooting for a clothing company their catalog. I create inside of a single session different folders named by the item code number. Each folder have several photos in it named consequentially. I've chosen and edit the photos giving the 5 star rating. Now I need to export only the chosen ones but I need to give them the name of folder they are in (item code). In the exporting tab you can only give the name of the new folder you're about to export to, but not the name of the folder from which the photos come from. Is there a way to do that? and most important is that a way to select all the session favorite folders and do it at once and not folder by folder? Please help I have 400 different session folders and code items that create when i captured. Tnx!!

Curious as well. Right now I can only export with the name of "Folder Name" or "Sub Folder Name," of which both are not the favorite session folder name.
I ended up having to create all folders manually ☹️
Any thoughts?0 -
Same need here.
I submitted a support request for a 'Folder Path' token to be added. I would encourage you to do the same for your needs. So they might listen at Phase One and add our feature requests in a further release.0 -
Hi
You can use "image folder" token which is the parent folder for the images.
In addition you also have collection name for albums or smart albums filtering from favourites.
There is also session sub path and session sub path long for mirroring input to output.
Review the token information on the blog here: http://blog.phaseone.com/how-to-automat ... th-tokens/
Make a support case if this does not help you and I will try to help you build a recipe to get what you want.0
