BUG? BUG? BUG?
have C1 pro version 3.6 and a Canon 1Ds.
When I connect the camera through firewire the image doesn't show up in the preview bigwindow with every capture. I have manualy click on the image on the left
This is very frustrating. Previous version of C1Pro worked ok.
Moreover in the preference tab, the rotation function doesn't function either. When I want my captured images to rotate portrait -90 or whatever, the image stays in landscape mode.
Does anybody has the same experience?
Or someone from Phase One perhaps.

edtepas,
Check the File > Preferences to be sure settings are what you want.
At the Capture Options tab be sure that Process immediately when capture arrives is checked.
Also see the 1394 and Camera Settings tab and verify what is selected for Capture orientation, for you Force to portrait -90°
These settings should work together upon capture.
Sincerely,

All these options are tried with NO succes. No show up of the in the big screen. I still have to manualy select the image on the left. No rotation..
Below are screen captures of my setttings.

I had the exact same problem. My guess is that setting the \"make this the defalut white balance\" does not work either. I tried for a very short time to resolve the issue and quickly dug up a copy of 3.5.2 which works just as fine as it ever did (with non fatal bugs) 0
