By all means discuss such ideas with other users here, but if you want to make a request for a feature to Phase One, do it through a support case.

I quite like the idea of being able to set the sample size for the picker.

Added from another thread......how many Wish List threads do we need? 😎

    "Hi,
Am I the only one who would like the following:?

    1. I would like to be able to set a default sort in Prefences. I like my thumbnails sorted by date. Every directory defaults to sorting by name.
    2. In Library I would like to cut and paste the directory address. Find directory in Windows explorer, Copy Address, open CapOne Library and Paste address of directory to open.
    3. When opening a session CapOne should open on the last image processed.

    Simple, I'm sure, to implement.

But remember that however many wish list posts there are, they won't be treated by Phase One as feature requests. If you think something is a good idea, make a feature request in a support case to Phase One.

Which I always do. But, a wish list brings it to the attention of others who might also ask Support to consider something - critical mass and all that! 😎

Ps. I also started one on the Luminous Landscape board. Must bigger take up there.

Could you perhaps keep monitoring all of the individual posts you copy into thie thread so that you keep this one up to date with the other responses. Also make a not in the other thread that you have consolidated the idea here perhaps?

You might need to ask the original poster if they are OK with that - out of courtesy.

Things will get somewhat chaotic otherwise and waste a lot of people's time.

    Thanks.

Support have just confirmed that you can't make Curve/Preset adjustment to layers.

But, they are going to submit it as a new feature suggestion.

Not a big deal, but useful occasionally.

You have now mentioned this on 2 separate threads (as far as I can see) and updated one of them.

This may not be helping forum clutter.

Given the nature of the adjustment what is your use case for having a layer based curve preset?

Outside a studio environment where an adjustment a the "background" level might be a more appropriate location, I can't think of many situations where a layer preset would attract regular deployment "as it is",

If you are modifying the preset .... well, you may as well start over, you might get to where you want to go quicker.

But please describe your use case - I may change my mind.
