I get the beach ball with EVERYTHING I do in C1Pro 5.0.2

    How much images do you have in your folder? Many files can make it slow.
    It might also help to refresh (read: delete) the session file. The default session file 'Capture One.col50' is renewed automatically.

    Besides that I would stay up-to-date with CO5, with 5.1.2 as the latest release.

    Also, if you've just upgraded are you sure the new RAM card is good? If you go back to 1GB is everything happier?

    Typically when users have severe stalling and stuttering in Capture One and are browsing Canon files (more common with the 5D Mark II) there is simply one corrupt RAW file in the batch. Open the software to no images and move through the tools, if it operates smoothly we're likely onto something. Add 1 or 2 RAW files and work off the local drive... if there's no stall we're onto something.
