How can I delete catalog previews?

Hi,

Is there a way to reduce the size of the catalog by deleting previews of old images? My catalog on my laptop SSD has ballooned to 10GB and I want to reduce the size. Thanks.

    For referenced images: catalogs grow when you add images, but do not shrink, when you remove images.
    For embedded images: catalogs shrink, but not as much as they could, when you remove images.

    Previews and settings are not removed with the images.

    At the moment, writing a cleanup script seems to be the only option.

    You could consider regenerating previews to a smaller size. The default size is the max. value, which is not needed in most occasions.
