Viewing images
Yesterday I upgraded to CO12 and today have been playing with it. The software works as i had expected but when it comes to viewing the jpg images using Windows Photo Viewer there is a problem. Opening up an image gives the correct colour but when I switch to slide show the colour changes dramatically and is nothing like it was before switching to slide show.
When I do the same with images processed using version 11 the above does not happen and the slide show images retain their colour.
If I change the viewer to Windows 10 photo the static and slide show images are identical.
What am I doing wrong.

What is the color space (ICC profile) of your output (process recipe or export). Maybe CO11 is set to sRGB and CO12 to a larger space like AdobeRGB. 0 -
No, both set at sRGB and until I operate slide show the colour is perfect. I've just tried irfanview and that gives the wrong colour as well even before operating it as a slide show. 0 -
Apologies, my stupidity, the profile was set at ProPhoto RGB, sRGB works perfectly and thanks for your suggestion... 0 -
Good to hear you're up and running. Bottomline is that the applications you mentioned are not color managed and do not interpret the colors correctly. With sRGB you circumvent the issue. 0
