    Hi Juerg,

your question is about an "unnanounced product" - ie about the timescales for release of a version of Cap One with D4 support - and like this thread asking about support for the Canon 5D Mk III (viewtopic.php?f=41&t=12089) is out of scope for discussion here.

ok, then why don't you delete this thread? I obviously cannot.

btw, Nikon D4 is not new and "unannounced", it is out there and making RAW files which are in current C1 release not supported. Strange to me that this should not be allowed to ask in a forum like this.

But again, just delete it and good is!

    Because I'm just a user/customer, like you.

But Phase One's plan for the release of a version of Capture One with D4 (or 5D Mk III) support is unannounced - that's what is out of scope for discussion.

No need to get upset guys. No doubt the new top of the line models of both Canon and Nikon will be on Phase One's priority list for support in Capture One. Release estimations are not given. Phase One needs to get their hands on a production model first and that can be sometimes a challenge for new models with high (initial) demand.

I am not upset. I just wonder why people always answer off topic, better say nothing...

But thanks Paul, that is a worthful information I was hoping to get here!

I have a D4 and want to start testing the RAW conversion in Capture...any authorities know when we can see an update for the software?

No ETA, but in the mean time enjoy your new camera.

Did you read the rest of this thread?

Your question is out of bounds on this forum.

Will phaseOne support the Nikon D4 and D800 NEF files? I am thinking about purchasing this software, but it will not open any of my files. The camera was released on the 15th. By now I would expect a release date.

    Yes.

But - as you'll realise if you read the thread - you won't get a release date.

    Hey all,
Support will be available in Capture One as soon as we can. We're working on it and hope to provide it soon, but again I have no ETA.
In the meantime, I'm going to close this thread... the perpetual motion of the topic is enough to make your head spin 😂
