White background is yellow!
Hi
I have done a series of portraits on a white background. I would love this background to be a clear RGB 3x255. But it isn't. No matter what I do it is slightly yellow tinted.
I have created an adjustment layer where I blow out everything +4 exposure, -50 contrast, 50 brightness, -100 saturation. but still my rgb reads: 255, 254, 244
I am puzzled why this is. Can anybody help me here?

Best option here is to create a tech support case (via the link in my profile) and send us an EIP which can be generated via File > Export Images > Originals, check Pack as EIP. 0 -
Will do - I'll save you from all 100 portraits from the session. 😊 0 -
What happens if you press ctrl or cmd + R to reset all adjustments then move the white point on either the levels or curves tool to and see if the problem still exists? If this gets you pure white I'd expect there is some toning of some sort going on somewhere so take a look at the color balance tool on all your layers, and perhaps the individual R, G, B channels of your curves & layers. 0 -
Also check for any Process Recipe settings that might be in use. 0
