Nvidia Driver 350.12 Open CL
Hi,
any one else with this behaviour?
In C1 Open CL is set to auto.
When I have a RAW (Sony arw) file open and move the mouse over style presets, the image will disappear for 1 second an will then re-appear with the style preview applied.
This happens since I use the driver version 350.12. from Nvidia.
With an older driver version 347.88 I got an immediate preview of the style.
The issue can be fixed by setting Open CL for the display to Never/No, but then I do not benefit of OpenCL.
My guess is: The current Nvidia uses OpenCL 1.2 which causes the problem.

Can confirm strange issue with nvidia driver 350.12 on Windows 8.1.
Changing settings like Exposure hide the right half part of the image, and need something like 1s to come back.
Same operation when zoomed hide the complete image for the same time.
Reverting back to 347.88 resolve the issue.0 -
what is the point anyways to rush to use the most recent "game ready" drivers that Nvidia is churning out to make gamers (the intended auditory/audience) happy ? 0 -
I had the same issue. Also I couldn't properly process images until I turned off opencl for processing as well. :/ 0 -
Hi,
Unfortunately there are more issues with OpenCL processing (Display Auto) than just that, especially in rendering highlights. If you have a look at this screen dump the left-hand side shows the display with OpenCL Display (Never) and the right-hand side shows the image with OpenCL Display (Auto).
