accidentally made selections in Folders

So, working away and didn't notice I had made selections while in the Folders section of the library tab, that did not immediately translate over to the user collection of said folder. Is there a way I can 'migrate' the selections from the Folder to the User Collection?

  It's not clear what you mean. Selections for what? If you selected images in the Folders, for instance, and gave them three stars, then any user collections they are in should also show them as having three stars.

  Yes, there is a command for that, but a bit hidden. Let's unhide.
  
  After making a selection, right-click on one of the thumbnails, Create Albums From > Selection. Give the Album a name and you are done.
