Can't get to Pro features
I had 3.X Pro. I installed 4.X regular before Pro was released of the 4.X products.
On my desktop ...
After installing the 4.5 Pro and running it for the first time, I received errors about creating a library. I let Capture One create a .col45 file, copied it to .col, and it worked.
The problem is, my copy shows Activated and yet I have no access to the Pro features.
The License Window shows that the software is Activated but doesn't show the word Pro and doesn't have the new Pro features accessible. It also shows no other activations are available.
From the web site, I have deactivated all copies. So, to me, it acts like it can't communicate with the Phase One server. Selecting Deactivate tells me it can't connect.
I turned off all firewalls and virus protection. I removed my router and went to just a straight modem connection to the web ... same problem. All other internet features work flawlessly from all other software.
I'm at an impass. I attempted an install and activation on my laptop ... and that works flawlessly. But it is the desktop with dual monitors that I need to run the software on. It's like either something is blocking access to your servers or something is still out there in the registry that won't get reset.
I uninstalled and tried to delete every registry reference to Phase One and Capture One. Still, upon reinstalling, it shows my serial number and email address without prompting me. So evidently, 100% of the things aren't removed. I deleted the Capture One Library directory as well as the Phase One software directory.
This is on a machine running Vista 32 Ultimate with a huge amount of memory of large CPU.
Here is a shot of the License Info screen ... You can see the Pro features missing on the menu above and the missing word "Pro" and the 0 activations available and the Activated.
Thanks for any help.

Definitely a conflict with an older version of Capture One 3.X install leaving junk behind.
Opening a Case with Phase One was no help. It's going to take searching and deleting on the entire machine because it seems early versions of Capture One under Vista installed things all over the hard drive. The documentation and knowledgebase have no reference to these directories. I'm finding ProgramData\PhaseOne directories with *.lic files in them.
Consider this thread closed.

Andrew,
Your case with Phase One Support is still ongoing. Please remain patient as we identify the issue with your computers communication. Further correspondence should be dealt with through the case system in regard to this issue.0 -
Hi Andrew,
I just resolved this issue with P1 support. In my case it was not a communication issue. I deleted the license.enc file and everything worked.
Shut down c1, search your harddrive for lic*.enc and delete it. It should work for you.
