C1 v4.6 crashes whenever I try to create a Web Contact Sheet

Every time I try to create a Web Contact Sheet, C1 (v4.6) crashes.

The problem only started today. Previously, I have created many Web Contact Sheets with no problems. First thing I tried today was to create a Web COntact Sheet .... and crash!

Last successful contact sheet was created yesterday. I have not installed any new software on to my PC since yesterday.

I have tried the following (and none have solved the problem):
* rebooted
* other folders/images
* selected a few as one image for the contact sheet

I forwarded the crash information to PhaseOne, and I have opened a case with Tech Support.

Has anyone else had a similar problem when trying to create a Web Contact Sheet?

Any ideas on how to isolate/diagnose the cause of this problem?

  Sorry for the double post, but I just tried something that looks like it solved my problem ...
  
  After the first crash, I kept trying different things (to solve the problem), and everything I tried resulted in C1 crashing immediately after clicking File > Web Contact Sheet. So, C1 never closed normally (after I discovered the first crash).
  
  Then, I tried just closing C1 normally (without trying something that would cause the crash). After closing C1 normally, I launched it again ... and tried to create a Web Contact Sheet. All was well, and I was able to create the contact sheet.
  
  I closed C1 and tried it again, and all was well.
  
  I've noticed that a few other people have reported similar crashes when attempting to create a Web Contact Sheet. Before taking the drastic step of deleting and re-installing C1 ..... try opening C1 and closing it normally .... then re-open and try a Web Contact Sheet.
  
  One other piece of information (not sure it's relevant, but I'll mention it). When C1 was crashing (whenever I would attempt to create a Web Contact Sheet), I would first get a pop-up (just after starting C1) stating that a software update (for v4.6.1) was available. I woiuld click the "Later" button, and then go on to attempt to create a Web Contact Sheet (which would cause C1 to crash).
  
  The next time I would open C1 (after it crashed), the pop-up would again occur stating that a software upgrade was available. Apparently, when C1 crashed, it did not remember that it had already told me that the software upgrade was available, and I clicked "later".
  
  After shutting down C1 normally (without first attempting to create a Web Contact Sheet), and re-starting C1 ... the pop-up announcing a software upgrade was available did not occur.
  
  Could the process that checks for software updates, and pops up a window if an update is available, result in some instability that causes C1 to crash when one subsequently tries to create a Web Contact Sheet (or is it just a coincidence that the upgrade available pop-up occured just as I was having a problem with the Web Contact Sheet)? Perhaps the mods here can address that question.
