Extra activation for C1

This page https://www.phaseone.com/en/Products/So ... s-new.aspx states that "Every Capture One Pro 9 licence now comes with 3 actviations instead of 2". Will this be rolled out to existing customers with subscription too? I currently have 2 activations available on my account.

  For an official answer, guaranteed to get a response, you really need to contact the Capture One people directly via a Support Case.
  
  This is a User to User forum with regular but not guaranteed visits by some Phase staff. The official Support Case route will be better for you if the question is preying in your mind.

  So if anyone cares - I asked support and the response was that subscription licenses (which I have) come with 2 activations and purchased licenses with 3.
  
  I don't quite understand the reasoning, especially since the website says "Every Capture One Pro 9 licence now comes with 3 activations", but whatever.
