No Notification when posts are answered

I have checked my settings and everything seems to be in accordance, but when my posts are answered I do not receive an email notification. If anyone can assist with this I would appreciate it.

  I believe I am already by default, if I started the topic. My default settings are to notify me by email when a response is added to my post.
