Startup error
I get this message when starting C1Pro 4.5: "The application cannot continue without a library..." Choices are Locate Create or Quit.
So when I locate the .col45 file in "my pictures" it starts.
C1 asks about this every time now all of a sudden. But it has to know where the library / col45 file is, because it created it and put it there itself!
Does someone know how I can fix this?
I have tried uninstall-reinstall, but it still keeps asking.
I am getting kind of tired of this. ☹️

try renaming(temporarily) that .col45 file to something else and let C1 create a new one maybe....just a thought.
Do you also have a .col file there?0 -
OK, so I uninstalled C1 and deleted the hidden "Phase One" folder in "documents and settings - all users - program data" containing the license info. Reinstalled and finally C1 asked me to enter my serial no. and choose which version I wanted installed. And as of yet it does not miss any library. Now even the Licenses / Upgrades left info in the program is correct. Have no idea though, if my 3.7.8 will work now. But I am afraid to even try and see. Tired of things being messed up now. 0 -

No, no .col file there, only .col45.
Didn´t work, but thanks. I have solved the problem I think, look above. For now anyway. 😊
By the way, I also had C1 reinstall in a different folder than the one containing 3.7.8.0 -
good luck....hope all works well for you.
Despite all the complaints, I still find the rendering from C1 outstanding0
