Page up & down (and left & right) at 100%
I am trying to remove dust systematically using 100% magnification and finding moving the area under inspection via the navigator window somewhat haphazard.
When doing this function in Photoshop it is possible to move a whole screen up or down using the page up/down key and then to move left or right by a whole screen using the Command key together with the page up/down keys. Thus it efficiently covers the whole image area.
Is there an equivalent way of doing this in C1Pro please?

Are you aware that holding down space bar from any tool gives you the hand tool? 0 -
Hi Rap
He does certainly -as I do- but the feature Baxter2 is reffering and that I use intensively in PS on A 30" display would be very usefull in C1… with four hits on keyboard you've covered a whole 1Ds3 pic at 100%…0 -
Hi Rap
Nicolas is correct, I do know about the Hand tool. The method I described and use in Photoshop is far superior in terms of both efficiency and confidence that you've seen all of the image area. I'm using a P45+ back and am getting frustrated by how ineffective the scrolling method is to cover all of the picture.
If something similar to this isn't currently available, then I will have to request that Phase One consider implementing it in a future upgrade. I'd much rather remove dust on the raw than on every derivative file in Photoshop.0 -
On my Mac with image at 100%, hand tool selected, turning the scroll wheel on my mouse while depressing the Option key moves the image vertically. Turning the scroll wheel while depressing the Shift+Option keys moves the image horizontally. This means that if you are using the Spot/Dust removal tool, you would have to depress the space bar along with the other keys to move the image in the desired direction. I think this is something that you could easily train yourself to do.
Hope that you have a scroll wheel on your mouse and that this trick helps.

Thanks Rob I'll definitely have a go.
I've also got a Wacom Intuos tablet, so can see if I can program a couple of the buttons for these key combos.
I have now raised the issue as a support case and Phase have said there is no current capability, but that my request has been noted for future possible upgrades.0
