Canon 50D Support -- When?
The Canon 50D has now been out for a while, many (like myself) are using it.
When can we expect an update to C1 to support this camera?
It is killing me to try to use DPP. This is a make or break issue for me. If C1 does not support the 50D soon, I may have to shift to other software that does.
Please advise, thanks.

No promise since official announcment has not been made.
But I would be suprised if it is not in the next release which should be a 4.5.1 with in a fe weeks. đ0 -
OK, well I see that it is in 4.5.1 just released today, so that's great news. I will be using it shortly. Thank you. 0 -
I am receiving a "cannot connect to camera" message when attempting to use a Canon 50D tethered to the PC. Can anyone shed any light on this?
CaptureOne Pro 4.6
Windows Vista
P.S. I have to say that the colour scheme of the forum is really hard on the eyes. You might consider using a similar colour scheme as C1 Pro 4.6.....please. It is difficult to do too much reading here for too long without getting a headache. âšī¸
*later note: just found the Prosilver option in Board Preferences....that's a bit easier on the eyes and much easier on the brain (if you can look past the default blue) theme.
Love C1 Pro 4.60 -
Canon 50D and 5D MkII tethering is not yet supported in Capture One 4.6/4.6.1 Pro (see release notes). Raw file support is available, tethering not yet. It is in the wings for an upcoming release. While anticipating that release, the workaround is to combine EOS Utility and CO 4.6 and its hot folder option. 0 -
OK. Thankyou. Information appreciated! đ 0
