"Vibrance" equivalence in C1 11?
Hi All,
Coming from Lightroom world, I often rely more so on the "Vibrance" adjustments slider over the "Saturation" slider for Portraits, as it is designed to quickly boost overall saturation, but leaves skin tones alone, more or less. What is the equivalent quick-adjustment process in Capture One 11, to accomplish this? I've played around with the "Skin Tones" feature in the Color Balance section, but obviously, this is a lot more involved and not exactly a quick adjustment process.
Suggestions??
Thanks.

Thanks for the link.
I started watching it and he indeed explains it as you have said, as a controlled saturation boost.
But Lightroom seems to do the same, but protects skin tones more. You can see this visually, but it's also described in multiple article and tutorials on the web.
All that being said,...
So is the quick answer to keep the "Saturation" pretty subtle, and then boost other colors form within the Color Balance wheels?
FTR, I will watch the rest of that video right now. Just trying to wrap my brain around Capture One workflow approaches. Getting there, but a few things are still tweaking my brain a bit. 😊
Thanks.

You may also find this video with Derek Heisler useful, especially a section towards the end - starting around 50mins in probably.

Keep in mind that you can do the saturation in a layer and then adjust the effect of the layer with the opacity slider.0
