In which section of the Library tool is the Capture folder that you are shooting into selected?
If it is in the "System Folders" try to instead select the "Capture Folder" in the "Sessions Folders" (which points to the same path).

    Thanks' NN1311111 for your help.
I'll try tomorrow (all tools are far right now... 😉.
Just to say: until now i have been selecting the Capture Folder of the session i am working with, so within the System Folders section. If that folder was not selected at shooting time, the "Capture Folder" in the "Sessions Folders" was instead automatically selected.
And so far, no trouble within either section (System or Session folders).
Something has been changed ? I'll test and bring back feedback.

    it WORKS, thanks' !
But i don't see any reason not to be able anymore to view also the streaming within the System Folders section...
Except to preserve selection(s) done in that section, which might be important for some photographers/art d./etc.
Anyway it works, just need to modify a bit the way i work.
Any studies on how tough softwares could be on our mammalian brains ? 🙄

Delete the PLIST to reset the software.
Thanks' Drew, i started by that but it did not solve the problem from the very beginning.

    Something else:
it seems that the Customize Toolbar options are a bit buggy: can't make "Icon and Text" and "Text Only" working. Option "Icon Only" works fine.
(yes i did delete ALL CO previous version files. This problem happens on two different Mac, but same OS 10.6.5, and CO version 6, so far the only one...)

of course it should work in all situations. It is just a bug.

I had this same issue yesterday on a shoot. Didn't have time to troubleshoot, had to go back to V5.
Can a phase one rep confirm this is a bug, or is it an intentional change to the software?

On a related note, the behavior of the auto select "when ready" option has been frustrating me for a while. A quick test of V6 didn't seem to fix it, any suggestions welcome. I don't think it is a bug so I haven't yet filed a support case.

If we are shooting tethered with a canon 1Ds Mark III or 5D mark II for example. I usually have it set to auto select "immediately". However if I want to apply a style (i.e B &W,) they first come in as pixelated color images, render and the style gets applied. So if you are shooting quickly the images advance before they are fully rendered with the style. If I choose "when ready" it does not always render every image as it comes in, and jumps ahead, skipping several images and then I have to back track manually to look at those images. Kind of defeats the purpose of auto advance. Is this functionality only suitable for slow paced shoots, or is there a way to get the software to show every picture in sequence after it renders and applies the style when shooting very quickly?

    Thanks
    Daniel

Make sure you delete the PLIST. I have seen this behavior on a corrupt Preference file when there was no clean uninstall before the installation of Capture One 6. The issue is that the "Auto Pause" feature was "ON" even though it did not indicate such in the software.

This can also be avoided by selecting the "Capture Folder" Shortcut as appose to the Physical Location in the Library View.

    Hi Guys,
I have also had the same problem with 'auto select' But also files are not retaining the curves we set.
I checked "as last capture in ICC" and "Copy from last".
I agree there are some interesting new features but this is a glaring failure of a software that has many, many, many
updates and I am staggered this got through testing.
I work for a very busy photographer who just burnt out a Phase one 645DF Body after we logged 250,000 frames in two months. The camera is excellent as are the Schneider lenses & understand that is a big work load and generally the life of a curtain mirror motor.
Another extremely frustrating new feature is the "auto rearrange feature" whilst tagging images. Art directors generally
like to start with a say 5 star setting and compare and whittle down until they get to the best image. The new feature automatic will put a 5 star image the AD select back down with the images he has already seen and he has lost his place.
That is absurd. If he wants to see his 4 stars he can " arrange by tagged state" when he is ready to see them, he's already done this ounce to see his stars, the he makes a 5 star a 1 star and he's sent to the end of the line with the other 1 stars....and has lost his place.
Phase is clearly working to make the software better but this type of thing is maddening after dropping $40 k on a Phase camera and $100 for a V6 upgrade that is useless to us and quite Franky embarrassed us in front of our client.
Phase should be well past this "growing pains" stage and concentrate on busy work flow management and reliability.
Its great that I can skew an image now, but it wont have a curve and will be still sitting where we shot it 10 mins ago!!
GET IT TOGETHER! Any feedback welcome.
    Warm Regards
    Tim

    Hi Drew,
What exactly will be addressed, and, are there other issues with the software? It would help to know before deciding to use C1 6 on a paying gig.
