C1 cant see my Nikon D70

I am trialling C1 but I cant seem to get the sw to recognise the D70 - I have tried USB setting on M and P all to no avail. The Nikon sw recognises the camera fine on P.

Can any one help me?

  I believe the software only supports capture on Phase One backs and Canon 1D and 1Ds.

  On the list of cameras for colour management the D70 is included. Also the forum poll on cameras used has 20% of people using teh D70 so I expect the D70 can be used unless the trial cant. But all the preference files are included.

  You were right. The Knowledge base answered my question in more detail.
  
  The Nikon D70 camera is listed as a supported camera, yet the software fails to recognize the camera when Nikon Capture does see the camera. Why?
  
  
  Solution
  When we write that we support a camera, we support the RAW files from the camera, not used tethered / connected to the computer.
  
  You have to copy the image files from your flash card to the application eg. through a card reader. The Capture One application will be able to work with the RAW files from the Nikon D70.
  
  This is not only the case with the Nikon D70 camera, but the case with all cameras in the Capture One applications.
