Importing Sessions into a Catalog - output subfolders
Hi all
Just finished importing about forty sessions into a fresh catalog. All adjustments, metadata transferred nicely.
One issue presents itself. In the sessions where I have images sitting directly in the Output folder, they are instantly available once I select Output in the User Collections sidebar.
However, for most of my sessions I have subfolders within the Output folder depending upon the process recipe used, sorting out my Tiffs from my JPEGs etc.
These are not available, the subfolders are not seen within the User Collections. Is there something I am missing? There's no 'include subfolders' as you might get if you import files directly when you import a session.

If the output subfolders were not marked as Favorites in the original session, then the destination catalog doesn't know or care about them.
You can add them manually after importing by selecting the plus symbol at the top right of the System Folders, though, then Synchronize the newly added folders to import the TIF/JPG into the catalog.0 -
Thanks Ben, I had in the interim, worked out the solution you outline. Good tip about adding them as Favourites, that will be my approach in the future. 0
