Sounds like a monitor calibration issue. We suggest calibration tool from the likes of Gretag.

    Hi Folks,
I'm using Capture One because I like the speed and the workflow.
However, I have a Canon 400D, no problems there, and a Canon G9.
Now, currently the G9 RAW files are not supported by C1, so I had the idea of converting all my G9 shots (Canon RAW files) to DNG so that I could open them in C1 and use it to process all my images from both cameras.
However, I have found that on opening DNG files in C1, from both cameras, they appear about 30% over saturated. I can correct this but it's annoying.
Anyone else used DNGs in C1v4?
    Regards. 😎

Difficult to say. Have no Canon G9 raw here to play with. Send me a PM for my mail address if you like to send me some files so I can join you.

    Hi,

Be sure to select an ICC color profile such as Adobe DNG Neutral in the Quick tool.

    Paul,
    My monitor is already calibrated.
I'm an experienced user and files from both my 400D and G9 are OK in Photoshop Elements (v5, using Adobe Camera RAW v4.3.1).
Also, as I said the RAW files from my 400D are ok in Capture One.
It's just the DNGs, and they are all over saturated, not just from the G9, even the ones converted from my 400D.
So it's not a calibration problem, or a G9 specific problem, it's a "DNG in Capture One" issue.
I'll be submitting a support case shortly.
    Regards.
    😎

    Hi Jon,
Just saw your post. Thanks for that.
This is very interesting, selecting the "Adobe DNG Neutral" fixes the problem with those (DNG) files converted from my 400D but has no effect on those from the G9.
As I said before, I can correct it using the saturation slider but it's at least 30% out.
    Regards.
