thumbnail sort order problem shooting tethered
Hello,
We just upgraded one of our computers to Snow Leopard (10.6.2) and are trying a trial version of C1 Pro 5.0.2, and I am in the process of setting our studio work preferences to how we like them (basically similar to 3.7.9).
I have moved the thumbnails to the right, but the problem I am having is that the sort order does not stay applied when I take a new shot. We like to view in reverse order, either by capture name or date, so that the most recent capture is at the top of the thumbnail browser. We're shooting tethered with Canon IDs Mark IIs. If I take several shots and then do a sort it will put them in the order we like, but the minute I take a new shot, that thumbnail goes to the bottom of the viewer. Also, when I close the program and reopen it, any new captures taken drop to the bottom of the viewer.
I spent a good hour reading through the user guide and did not find an answer to this. It seems that the sort should just work and stay applied like it did in 3.7.9, or like it does in Bridge, but perhaps there is a setting I have not utilized?
Thanks!

Katie,
Unfortunately that is not the way the sort order works (yet). The sort preference will sort after the images are collected but when you are in the midst of shooting the last image captured will always appear at the bottom of the images.
In regard to closing and reopening the software, the preference of which sort order to maintain is held in the session. If you create a new session and repeat the sort order, does it stick?0
