Cannot process multiple images in 8.0.2

I cannot process multiple images. The only one that gets processed is the one that is highlighted as the primary image for editing. I have never had this problem before. Any workarounds?

    Enable "Edit all selected variants" from the toolbar or the Edit menu.

    There is a warning displayed when you disable the option and process, but the warning is apparently suppressed. You can enable the warning from Preferences.

    I could not find any other info on that setting.
