Hi. Let me first point out that I am using 6.0.1 because of import menu problems in 6.1.1 for which I have a support case. So my experience is with this version which still suffers from redraw artifacts when enabling opencl.

Using 266.66 and 270.60beta I have severe tearing and colour disruption in the main view window & lines in the focus window. However using 270.61 whql these so far have not appeared - just some minor redraw pixelation in the focus widow. If this is the case then the new driver is much better for me.

It also gives smoother panning at 100% when using ACDSee pro for image viewing / management.

My video card is msi geforce gtx 560 ti. With this card I see image changes when making adjustments pretty much instantly and therfore more clearly with opencl in action. As long as the artifacts stay away!

These break openCL for me. It shows as Never and grayed out in Preferences.
I hope Phase isn't looking for specific drivers in order for openCL to be enabled.
They'd break every time Nvidia releases a new driver which is every other week and
then we'd wait every other month for a C1 update.

The key words here are "for me"...it is not characteristic of Cone to disable Open GL with a driver release, either AMD or Nvidia. In fact, this release noticeably enhances performance AFA loading on my 480, not so much on my 285...but in neither case has a driver update required....

Posting not to argue the point but to suggest you open a support case with PhaseOne with specifics...that should not be happening.

Somewhat bizarrely not long after my first post I had a 'nvidia driver stopped working' - (crash) - message and the view image froze. Menu adjustment sliders moved but did not work. I have not had this since (yet?) but this occurred during only single image manipulation, only a few images imported. Never had video drivers crash (that I know of) before, in any application.
