How to import old archived settings?

I may be missing something but how do I restore images settings archived with the previous version of C1 SE in 3.6? The version I was using before (3.5.2) archived settings in files with extension \"Work\" and name that included camera name and image file name. In 3.6 it has extension \"C1w\" and name that looks like some CRC of the file contents. It is already inconvenient as I cannot tell which archive file goes with which shot but at this point it looks like archived settings are useless - another upgrade and they are gone. So much for \"archive.\" Especially considerting that it is not the first time this happens - the file name convention changed a few versions ago as well. Interestingly enough, it looks like the file format did not change that much - size is generally similar, contents look very similar.
So, is there any way to bring old archive settings in C1 SE 3.6 or not?

    After messing with it a little more I've found that there is some import code, it is just not 100% consistent. Here's what I've done: exited C1, deleted everything in \"Previews\" subfolder of the installation folder, copied all archived \".Work\" files from everywhere there, and restarted C1. It seems to be importing old settings in most folders but for some reason not in all folders. I cannot figure out if there is any system where it works or not -- for example, it did not work in a few latest folders but it failed in a few older folders as well. At least I've got most of the settings back, I was afraid that all of them are gone. \"Restore Settings from Archive\" does not work at all on old settings. I would file this as a bug.
