You might post desktop or laptop, OS version and how much memory. This will help ensure the respondents are using similar hardware.

Anyone have this problem? Capture one is taking up all my real memory which boggs down the computer and eventually crashes the program. I have deleted the software and reinstalled it. but nothing has fixed it. Anyone?

In contrast to other replies here, I did not assume you meant the memory consumption during tethered operation. Because browsing through files and adjusting let Capture One occupy all memory of my 3 GB MacBook Pro. A program restart frees up some memory, but not all (approx. 2 GB still in use). It gets worse because with Activity Monitor I can not find the process that is eating up the memory.

By the way, Capture One is not the only program with this illness under OS X 10.5.x. VMware Fusion 2.x has the same problem.

I have not updated to 10.5.7 yet (on 10.5.6), will do that shortly (there is a VMware Fusion 2 issue with 10.5.7).
