CO4.X - Worst Preview in the world...
Why Capture One 4 and 4.5 still having the worst preview over all Raw converters?
I use Canon. Just open DPP and can confirm: FIT and 50% view are OK. Just open ACR, FIT and 50% view are OK. ONLY PHASE ONE 4 have a very ugly image at "fit" or anything different from 100% (that is VERY SLOW TO RENDER)
So, if you can, made your tests... How it goes?
Sorry about my English - but is much better then yours preview... 😉

I understand why it is hard to do fractional scaling values quickly and with good results. What I don't understand is why I can't have a 25% or 50% preview, which are both smaller than "fit" with my camera's output on my monitor.
How about allowing previews smaller than "fit" so there can be a high quality 25 and 50 percent views. Also make the simulated sharpening on preview optional with a toggle button so the rendering time becomes almost 0.0 -

I don't know why but there is no more "high quality" at 50% preview (40D or 5D raws) ... My computer does not allow 25% too...
Why for ADOBE LR/ACR, CANON DPP, NIKON NX, APPLE, fractinal scaling values are possible and works with good results? ❓ ❓ ❓0
