Question on a new C1 Pro licence

I have just ordered C1 Pro to take advantage of the combined offer on that together with iView Media Pro (expiring tomorrow). I therefore have my licence number for C1 Pro. However, as v3.6 is no use to me (Canon 350D) I want to use it once 3.7 is issued. Will that licence still be valid for v 3.7 when it comes out and will I still have 2 further upgrades? I am hoping so given that 3.7 is called a free upgrade.
