can't open legacy sessions or EIP files
I've been trying to open legacy C1 sessions from two years ago and can't in C1 6.4.2 (Mac version). When I try to open the old session by double clicking the session file, the program crashes every time. When I try to import the old EIP files into a new session, the files aren't visible in their resident folder.
I archived these sessions with Stuffit Deluxe in .sitx format.
Any aware of the problem? Is there a fix?
Thank you.

A few notes and suggestions
Crashing after opening session file
The session file could be corrupt or contain links to storage (disk) that are no longer available. As a test, I suggest you open the session file but without the images in the session, only empty folders.
EIP
Your description of EIP is somewhat unclear to me. I am not sure CO6 can import EIP files. Just open CO6 with a running session (any session will do) and navigate from the Library tool to the folder with the EIP files. Please check beforehand that no CaptureOne/Cache folder exist in the folder with EIP to prevent a crash on replacing outdated preview proxies. This procedure should display the EIP files in CO6.
CO 6.4.2
There are (probably, noted but not yet confirmed) some issues with 6.4.2 and EIP. If possible, revert to 6.4.1. Note that any CO6 version prior to 6.4.2 on OS X 10.7.4 can crash (AMD video card only) although a workaround exist.0
