Capture One and Aperture

hi i test capture one and i import now my aperture library with 236000 images. It's very slow, Only import 36000 images in 10 days. i need soot down my computer and i don't know if cpature one continues importing the rest of the images when i on.. any knows about this?

  Just a testimony.
  
  I imported 14000 pictures from my Aperture library in a few hours. I didn't precisely time the process but it definitively lasted less than 6 hours. I am using a MacBook Pro (Intel Core i7 with 8 Go RAM and an external USB drive).

  thanks, perhaps it's for my computer. a mac pro 2008 in an external firewire 800 drive. but i need if i can shutdown and c1 continues importing when on the computer.

  I cannot answer that question, but I may have a solution for you.
  Since you have a Mac Pro, transfer your Aperture catalog to one of the internal drives and try again.
