Epson SC p600 printing complete wrong
Have bought an Epson SC P600 A3+ printer like it very much but printing from CP 9 is complete wrong.
If i print the same picture exported with settings from CP9 in example Pixelmator no problems.
If I print it from CP9 and save it as PDF then the colors are a complete mess, the same mess as when i print it with the printer.
Screen shot with the complete wrong coloring for print in front.

Big difference, really obvious. And strange that it is for pdf and print.
I have an Epson SC P800 here for printing and my prints with CO are perfect (from Canon raw). My pdf files created with the printer dialog are fine, too.
At this point, I've got no clue. Maybe you could give some more info.
For example,
- what is the file type you are using? tiff, jpeg, raw?
- if not raw, what's the profile used in your digital images?
- are you using a special proof profile for rendering in CO?

File format, raw, jpeg, tried different.
I "Flattend" the picture, exported with adjustments.
I thought that maybe that was the problem, rendering out the picture with adjustments was the problem.
Nope, no change, tried Capture One 8, same problem. It worked before.
I have tried different ICC profiles but no luck.
I will try to reinstall the epson drivers and software.0 -
I found the problem, bugg!
Its these two adjustments thats is the problem:
- Clarity,
- Noise Reduction
It increases with higher ISO in this particular picture the ISO is 25 400.
If I export jpeg or png and reimport it, it is still the same problem even if I strip all metadata.
Some thing is very interesting.
PS i don't think it has to do with the Epson printer, but I hadn´t the possibility to test on a clean computer with no Epson drivers installed.0 -
In your screenshot, you are looking at the fit-to-screen image. Does it change when viewing at 100%? There once was an issue with Clarity and Sharpness rendering on zoom levels less than 67% or so.
I'll go to find me a high iso image in my collection and try it. But anyway, this looks like it's worth asking PO in a support case. If you submit it, make sure to include your file, the screenshot, and the settings to reproduce it (maybe including a .eip packaged file).
