Smart Album for only a Project or Group

Hello. I'm using CO1 v12 on a Mac. I use CO1 using a Catalog (not Sessions). Within the Catalog I organize my photos into Projects and Groups - using Albums. I'd like to create a Smart Album that sorts/filters on the usual criteria - but I want the Smart Album to *only* look at a particular Project or Group. I can't figure out a way to do that.... it wants to look at the entire catalog and apply the criteria to all my photos. Help? Am I missing something simple? I've come up with a couple of work-arounds, but nothing simple and elegant. I would like to simply add a search criteria for the Project or Group name.

  You want to create a Project. Smart Albums inside a project will only search for images also inside that project. Check out the documentation here:

  Projects: Group your albums into projects, search and filter for images within a project. A project will limit the search scope of, for example, Smart Albums within it. (i.e. A Smart Album will only search for files within a project unlike a group).
