I work with 2000+ RAW files in one folder without problems.

I am finding that if I have a 200 images in a C1PRO6 session and upgrading to C1PRO7 session . . . my demo freezes up and had to kill the software by using CTRL + ALT + ESC and explicitly ending CaptureONE 7.

Here is the typical scenario: I have 200 (more or less) RAWS from my Canon 7D. They have settings applied in CaptureONE PRO 6. I would open the session file and agreed to run the version 7 in trial mode and elect to upgrade/update the session 6 into session 7. Since I wanted to see the new features of version 7, I'd select ALL the CR2 files and click the "Upgrade" button in the Exposure tab.

This is the weird part. Sometimes, the process would be painless and at times C1PRO7 would stuck and had to be killed the Windows Task Manager way. With these inconsistencies and what other Windows 7 users wrote in the official forum, I am going to wait until my trial expires on 25 Dec.

I was having a problem but today I upgraded my video card to an EVGA GTX 560 Super-clocked card with 2 GB ram and my processing issues have gone away, including the lockups in the same folder I was having lockups yesterday. The folder has about 1,390 images in it.

    Hmm.

I don't like the sound of having to upgrade. Photography is already expensive as it is. Sigh.

With "Black Friday" around the corner, I might have to "suck it up" and upgrade my video card. I am currently using the entry level GT 430 with 96 CUDA cores.

Amazon is having a $30 rebate this month on the card I bought which brings the cost down to $155. It was $5 more when I bought it 2 days ago with the rebate.

I'm using Capture one 7 on a Windows 7 PC and every time I try to access a Session it freezes. Catalogs seem to work just fine.

I hope you have submitted your experiences so the Tech Support will have more data points to kill any bugs for later version 7 updates.
