3.7.8 Exposure Compensation not right

There is a HUGE jump from 0 to -.1 EV and a very small increment from 0 to +.1 EV

I could care less about the 0 to +.1 inconsistency but the 0 to -.1, how do we work around that?

I'm working with Nikon D3 files. 3.7.8 on Leopard
