Cap 1 fails to launch

I have Win XP and a working internet connection but nothing happens when I double click the Cap 1 icon, and there is no error message or pop up window just plain no response ! I had successful launch of the software about 2 weeks ago.
If I reinstall the software to the same computer will it count as an activation ? Any suggestions ?

    You can safely reinstall CO6 without losing activation. In case it does count as a second activation, you can always regain your activations by deactivating the license key from the Phase One web site and activate your copy again the next time you start the program (and starting the counter from scratch).
